Moderator Aynouk Tan, together with Jean-Paul Paula, Bete van Meeuwen and Roxette Capriles, will talk to the public about safe spaces within the art and culture world. Have you ever thought about this or do you want to do this with us? Come to the talk and join the conversation!

A theme that is getting more and more attention is safe spaces for the queer community, safe places where we are able to be without judgment based on normativity, where there is room for discussing and sharing of experiences and challenges. We are also seeing an increase in safe space activities within the art world.

During this talk we want to explore together about these safe spaces within the art and culture world. Is the cultural world perceived as an unsafe place? How inclusive is the cultural world? Do safe places actually lead to division and does confrontation lead to connection? We would like to discuss these questions and more with you and our speakers.
