‘It’s nice in here’ is a 2022 short animated story by Robert-Jonathan Koeyers that paints a fragmented portrait of a moment, a person, and a place, seen through the subjective memories of a young Black girl and a rookie police officer.

Father Figure (2019) by Bibi Fadlalla is a short poetic documentary about young, black and gay men who, in a world full of homophobia, racism and exclusion, found their place in a close-knit vogue dance community in Rotterdam.

Artist Fyn Paulina Bonita is the curator of the films.

Fyn (sarafina) Paulina Bonita (they/them) is a Queer, Surinamese-Dutch, performance artist who works with language, translation, ancestry, gender codes and racial biases. They create performances and poetry from an intersectional approach that focuses on the lived experience of the other.
