Within the majestic Zuiderkerk in Amsterdam, the ADAM Quartet unveils a striking new perspective on Philip Glass’ String Quartet No. 3 ‘Mishima’. Shaped by Wes Broersen’s scenography, the performance draws the audience into a charged atmosphere where minimalism, emotion, and visual space resonate as one. From the work’s poised stillness emerges a hypnotic intensity, revealing the subtle power of Glass’ distinctive musical language. ‘Glass’ repetition creates a sense of ceremonial momentum’.

Intertwined in the music of Glass, the ADAM Quartet will play minimal music by Caroline Shaw, Geerten Feller and Bach.
