For this Utrecht edition we’re teaming up with a new partner in crime: International Lied Festival Zeist. This annual festival is a real deep dive into classical song, bringing top singers and fresh talent together for concerts, masterclasses, and talks. It’s where poetry and music collide in the best way. The festival kicks off in May, but this 24chambers will give you an exclusive sneak peek with Laetitia Gerards & Thomas Beijer. Laetitia Gerards is one of our best Dutch sopranos and a regular on the major stages. She is known for her sharp musical instinct and her magnetic stage presence. Expect a voice that will blow you away and a performance that keeps you on your toes.
Thomas Beijer is no stranger of 24classics and it is always a honor to have him. He is not just a musician, he’s a creative force who is constantly pushing boundaries. He’s a writer, illustrator and composer—but above all, one of the most talented pianists we have and you can easily find him playing at major venues like Het Concertgebouw. Getting curious?
